Women’s player and coach development evening 29th Sept

On Monday 29th September 2008 a “women’s player and coach development evening” is being held at Winchester RFC. The evening has been organised by HRFUW and is free to all senior players and coachesThe topics for the evening are;

• Backs – Decision Making
• Forwards – Body Management Under Pressure

Both sessions will also cover skill development.

The evening is being led by Graham Smith and Gavin Williams from the England Women’s Coaching team and supported by Jamie Sanders and Jon Brookstein, the Hampshire Rugby Development Officers

As part of the development of coaches in the county Graham and Gavin will deliver a coach education session detailing the aims, objectives and technical detail of the two sessions and the coaches will then be invited outside to watch the sessions delivered and to observe the delivery technique.

For player development all senior female players in the county are invited to take part in the sessions and to benefit from some very high quality coaching.
